Need a recipe for Sweet potato fries

Last night my parents, myself and my 8 1/2 month old baby went to eat out at Outback Steak House. I ordered Payten some Sweet Potato fries, I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for these. They were sweet and actually really good. He loved them and I want to make them at home plus everyone else likes them too. lol

  • Preheat oven to 350 F Wash sweet potato well. With skin on, cut in half and then cut half into fries. Using plastic zippered bag, I add some olive oil, then one tsp smoked paprika and one tsp cumin. Add cut fries. Shake well distributing spices evenly over all. Place on cookie sheet and bake for about 12 minutes each side. Serve with dijon style mustard or bar-b-que sauce

  • You don't need a recipe. Just get some good sweet potatoes. It is probably best if they are small (easier to cut and handle). Cut them like french fries. Using a really good, fresh oil, fry them in a pan. Drain them on paper towels. Sprinkle them with salt while they are hot and then add any other spice you like. I use a cinnamon sugar mixture.

    That's it...great fries...homemade!
