What are healthy low calorie foods that are really filling?

  • Shredded wheat cereal. My sister swears it is the only thing that keeps her from attacking the fridge at night.

  • Oatmeal, not the instant kind. Whole wheat bread. These are filling food.
    Low calorie foods are usually not filling.

  • Cantalope and watermelon. Celry. If made correctly, chicken and turkey don't have too many calories in them. And rice or sweet potatoes.

  • granola and yogurt or cereal and yogurt, lean meat, a salad with spinach leaves, romaine lettuce, cucumber, carrots, tomato, light croutons or nuts, low fat/fat free dressing.
