  • It's probably the heavy iron in it, I got severely nauseated in my 1st trimester too from them, so I took them at night. Now I'm taking Flintstone's w/ Iron lol.. very gentle on the tummy!

  • I suggest taking 2 flinstones vitamins, that helped me and it was okay with my OB. Ask your OB. If i took my prenatals at night i still became sick so i took the childrens vit. instead.

  • prenatals are supposed to be taken after food and with a full glass of water. from what i've gathered, most of the women i know who got sick off of them took them on an empty stomach.

  • I took mine with food, but they still bugged my stomach. I switched to an all-natural brand that was made from real raw foods with ginger and probiotics. They are big capsules and have a gross aftertaste, but they don't bother my stomach. Try checking with a natural foods store to see what they offer, or look online. Iherb.com is a good source. Good luck!

  • I couldn't take them either. I took 2 flintstones vitamins every day for the entire pregnancy. Even though it's not the "real" prenatals... everything worked like it should! =)
