Hello all.. I am 38 weeks along and my hubby and I are still having trouble deciding which name to use for our son.

Gerrit Nathan, (Jr)
Wade Hampton

We ve got about 3 different problems/reasons we cant decide:
1 - we both like the names equally...
2 - dilema: a Jr is usually the first son in the family
3 - we believe my bro will steal "Wade Hampton" for his own son if we dont use it for ours.. what would you do?

  • This is your second son? You and your husband and your brother and his wife all agree that Wade Hampton is the best possible name to the extent that they are going to steal it? How odd.

1 - Gerrit will be called a Ferrit his whole life
2 - I don't like the name Wade AT ALL.
3 - go with Nathan Wade or Nathan Gerrit or Nathan Hampton

Let me ask, are you southern?

  • The only thing I hate about Jr.s is that you never know who you are talking about ...Daddy Garratt or baby Garrett?

I like Garrett and Wade...how about Wade Garrett...
