If you freeze leftover cookie dough, what do you do the next time you make a batch?

Do you have to thaw it? Or can you just bake it from its frozen state? I made waaaay too much sugar cookie dough today =)

  • It depends on the kind of dough, but with sugar cookie dough, you can just slice it and bake it no problem. I prefer to put it in the fridge to thaw out, but you really don't have to.......

  • i usually bake it frozen...that is when i actually bake them instead of eating the dough.

  • I never bake a batch of cookies. I freeze the dough in balls and bake two or three cookies at a time in the toaster-oven.
