hazel eyes

I have hazel eyes and they make me a little insecure. My daughter told me the other day that she didn't know if my eyes were brown or green. Sometimes I look at pictures of me and I swear that my eyes look like a wearwolf! Do any of you have eyes that change colors? Do you ever notice that they change when you are emotional? Do you like that your eyes change colors?

  • Yep! I have hazel eyes and they change color with what I am wearing and my mood. If I wear blue or am really happy they look more blue. If I am sad or wear dark colors they look darker- almost brown. I love it! It keeps people on their toes! Plus I gave my kids hazel eyes too but they all have different shades and they are all gorgeous!

  • Mine are hazel, but more on the green side for sure. I love them and have only gotten compliments...except for once, in the 3rd grade, when a boy told me they looked like fish guts, lol.

  • My hubby and I both have hazel.
Mine tend to be more green but there are times that the brown really pops out. I love my eyes, never had issues with their color or felt insecure, etc.

No one else in my family has hazel eyes, just me. We all have different eye colors(my sisters and I and my parents).

  • happyBoo to all of you as I go kick rocks! I WISH my eyes were hazel. Nope, I got dark brown peepers. However, I have ALWAYS dated men with "pretty eyes." My DH has the most gorgeous caramel brown eyes...

  • This is what I mean with the "wearwolf" thing. Some days they are really green, some days brown with green rings.

  • Yes, mine, DH and DD all do. My youngest has blue eyes no changes there. I love it. I have gotten compliments on them my whole life. I love that my DD's eye are the same typical color as mine. But they do change depending on mood and colors we are wearing. My DD and I have green brown, DH has more green with a little bit of brown, unless he is wearing the right color. All of our do change blue depending on the colors and mood we are in. Get to crayons and mix the two colors and tell her that is Hazel, maybe then she will get your eye color better.
