How can anyone afford Gap baby clothes?

I've been browsing online for clothes for my 1 yr old and checked out Gap. I can't believe how much they charge! I'm honestly jealous for people who can afford to pay that much. We're not poor or anything but there's other places our money needs to go than to pay $30 for some pants my lo will only fit in for 6 months tops. I'm just surprised they charge that much and are still in business.

It's one thing to charge a lot for adult clothing because they fit longer (hopefully you can wear them until they wear out), but babies grow so quick! I just don't expect to see such high prices.

  • We get gift certificates from the grandparents and I use it to buy clearanced stuff. That is the ONLY way I ever buy from The Gap. I will fuss about name brand junk LATER when my dd gets into her teens.

  • b/c some ppl have so much money they dont realize how poor others are and spend way too much money on things that dont need to be spent on. rich ppl think they r better than everyone and have to throw it in everyones face

  • When my kids were babies, I had a very good job. I could have bought Gap, but didn't because I didn't want to piss away my money.
