  • I'm so glad you asked this. I've been wondering too. I remember losing most of mine in the second grade around 8 years old.

  • My son was five when he lost his first tooth. He went to the dentist the next day for a check up and I asked the dentist what age do children start loosing their teeth. She told me that between age 5 and 8 is when children start loosing teeth for the first time.

  • My daughter was 6.5 when she lost her 1st, and my son had just turned 6. I think with every child it varies.

  • Based on my kids and their friends...around 6. Although it really ranges like from 5-7 (some earlier or later as an exception).
My oldest lost her 1st tooth a couple months after turning 6. My son lost his a month before his 6th birthday. My middle daughter lost her first tooth at 5 1/2. By the time she turned 6 she had lost like 6 teeth, lol. Which was funny because she didn't get her first tooth until after she turned 1 (where as the other 2 got their first teeth between 6 and 71/2 months).

  • DS lost two at once when he was about 6 1/2. None since then, its been about a year. Dentist told us that the longer he keeps his baby teeth, the better.
