Need game ideas for outdoor princess birthday party....

My daughter wants to have an outdoor princess party, in October, at the park!!! Where we live its a little chili outside in October so we do plan on having hot chocolate for all the kids, but I figured that when kids are having fun they really dont mind the cold.... so we are doing an outdoor princess party! I just am looking for some cute game ideas for the party... that we can play with little or no props since it will be at a park! There will be about 10 kids that will attend, ages ranging from 4-6 yrs old.... any suggestions would be awesome! Thank you all in advance!!!!!

  • I had one this past Feb. We did a scavanger hunt with adults in different places in the park. The adults had a prize for each girl and a clue to get to another adult. We did this instead of goody bags! We even got some cheap bags from the dollar store and let the girls decorate with markers and then they got to take them home!!.We cut stars out of card stock and stapled them on the end of straws to make wands. Making necklaces is always a hit with little girls and you can put all the beads in one container to make it easy to take to the park. Bring tape to tape one end of string to the table while they are working or you will have a bunch of crying and frustrated little girls on your hands. We use hot chocolate too but called it our special chocolate "tea" and had a "tea" party with it. The dollar store had some cute mugs for kids and we wrote each girls name on one. At the end of the party they took those home too.

  • you can do book balancing... balance a heavy book on their heads and who ever walks the furthest wins. You can do something similar with hard boiled eggs but balanced on spoons, you can either have them hold the spoons in their hands or their mouths
