Is a hat a must have item?

I know that doctor recommend the hat so the sun would not give you cancer.
But my son wouldn't wear one.

  • Of course not. They look cute, but rarely will they keep them on.

  • A lot of babies won't wear one. Keep trying as the baby gets older until he will wear one. For now try to avoid the sun during peak times.

  • In the winter, YES as most of your body heat is lost thru your head. You are the parent, and he will do as you say. In the summer, heatstroke, sunburns, and cancer are all a risk

  • My son would never keep his hat on this summer, and we are down south where it's hot and sunny. I just kept him slathered up with sun screen.
