How to turn black hair into two shades lighter? (perferably a light brown)

I was dying my hair "Dark Brown" that is my natural color but I was thinking if I went alittle lighter would that help hide the gray that show up so quickly they just don't want to stay away long enough before I know it it is time to dye the roots again...aarrgg!!!

I was thinking of dying my hair (well the roots) alittle lighter and not dye the rest bc it is already dark enough or should I just do the roots and leave in for alittle longer then usual and then use the rest on the rest of my hair but not for long?

Help! Thank you!

  • See a professional hair colorist at a salon so you know you will get the color you want with the least amount of damage to your hair.
