How to take a toddler's temperature?

and get an accurate reading?

I did it this way underthe arm pit and it came out to 100.8...is this accurate?
Or do I round it off as 101.0

  • Under the armpit and add one degree. So 100.8 would be 101.8. Time for some Children's Tylenol or Motrin???

  • I take my daughter and son's temp under their arm or in theor mouth.Under the are I add one degree like the other tow mom's said.In the mouth I don't though.

  • I still do my daughters rectally. Its the most accurate. Add a degree if doing under the armpit or in the ear.

  • I do the fore head thing. It is as accurate as the bum, but no fuss. I love it
