What is or what do you consider to be a troll?

I guess I don't understand the terminology of it.

  • I got this defintion from Wikipedia, and this is what i think when i think troll..

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2]

  • There are several trolls in the Political and Current Event group. I don't know why people even respond to her. Just let her say whatever. Don't respond. She'll get bored and go elsewhere. Kind of like a little brother.

  • Anybody who posts anon who has nothing nice to say, which shows how ugly they are inside as well as out.

Have you ever noticed that the really mean comments are ALWAYS anon????

    They do this on purpose.

Not only are they trolls, but they are COWARDS.

Because they know that if they posted that awful response under their real name, they would be reported and possibly blocked from the site.
