  • Uhh... maybe in your area?
I just came from the hospital... well, this afternoon, and I was not forced to wear a mask.
You are if you're showing flu-like symptoms or coughing/sneezing a lot.

  • Wow. That was awesome grammar.
"If you're showing flu-like symptoms or coughing/sneezing a lot, it is required to wear a mask." <- that's what I meant, not that hot mess I just posted.

You do realize that hospitals are among the dirtiest (germ-wise) places?! (You can Google "dirty hospital syndrome" for more information) You know because that's where all the SICK people go to get well! LOL

Besides, I take my children to outpatient therapy at a large regional hospital and they only require masks if you have a cold--are actively coughing and sneezing--but that policy has been in effect for YEARS--not because of the Swine Flu!

  • As in around here , we are not yet require to wear a mask to visit someone in the hospital. Unless the doctor tells you to.

  • I remember as a kid that they did not let us kids visit anyone in the Hospital, Because we may get sick.

When my daughter had her baby a few months ago the women in the next bed had her whole family visit and some of the kids had colds. Some people are just stupid and will spread the flu. The masks are a good idea.
