Kinda stupid question but need to ask...

My son is three months now, I'm breastfeeding and my menstrual cycle just returned. Is it okay to use tampons?

  • It is not a stupid question. Start with a small tampon; if it is uncomfortable, try again next month

  • Once the Doc clears you for intercourse, usually after 6 weeks then I believe it's OK. I jumped right back into using them during my first post-partum period with out any troubles. I did notice however that my internal shape had changed a bit, so I had to insert then at a slightly different angel. Good luck, hope goes is well! ;o)

  • I agree with the others. I can't use Tampons anymore. They just fall out. :/
