Recycling perscription glasses?

I just got a new pair of glasses. My old ones are about 5 yrs old but do not have scratches or anything. Theres nothing wrong with the glasses or frame besides its not the right script for me anymore. Are there ways I can recycle these or donate?

  • I wish I knew my daughter has some, and if you find out let me know.

  • I know that there used to be boxes in stores to collect glasses for the Veterans, but I haven't seen them in a long time.
You can possibly call your local eyeglass stores to ask them if they know of any donation programs, or call any local shelters to see if any people there need some.
You are a very sweet person. I would rather donate than throw things away, too.♥
