What are the signs that my daughter is readyy or not ready to be out of a diaper and be potty trained?

  • can she tell you when she has to go, can you tell when she has to go, can she take her diaper off, can she sort of pull down her pants, how good is her bladder control. things like that. how ol;d is she?

  • way too young. can she walk good. like no help no holdiong unto stuff not being wobbly. my dd was ready at 18 mts but some kids arent ready till they are almost 3. how well does she talk?

  • Under a year is pretty young for potty training. A child needs to not only be able to walk without assistance, but tell when they need to potty or have pottied, and convey that to you. If a child does not understand what you want them to do, they will not be able to do it, and the process will take even longer b/c there will be a negative association. Most parents begin to train at 18-24 months, and it can take up to a year for the child to catch on, and there will still be accidents. Give it time and don't push. It'll happen when it happens.
