  • i have had 3 pregnancies and yes, it can cause cramping. i kept thinking with this baby(#4)that i was going to get my period for 3 weeks, but i was really early on in pregnancy. i was also bloated for about 2 weeks. I don't remember if it happened with my first preg. but it did with my 3rd and this one too. I NEVER cramped when i ovulated. I never knew when i was ovulating. never had any noticable symptoms while ovulating.

  • It's probably due to ovulation or endometriosis rather than implantation. If there's any endometrial tissue tugging on your ovaries as they move up after ovulation, it could cause cramping.
