  • scrapbooking takes alot time. maybe if you like taking pictures - u could take a photography class. start buying & selling on ebay. volunteer @ school or church.

  • i agree w.scooterpooter scrapbooking or collage making can take up tons of time and still be fun. Or if you have a sewing machine make a quilt! I love to make quilts and they aren't as difficult as they sound :)

  • I make chainmaille jewelry. It's VERY time consuming but the end results are beautiful (plus they sell well lol). It definitely helps me de-stress and forget about things.

  • video games, scrapbooking, art projects with the kids, crossword puzzles (or variety puzzle books), painting, reading (books by Diana gabaldon really suck you in!)

  • To help me "forget about things" several years ago, I ripped up the carpet in the dining room and painted a design I created on the floor. It took a long time and focus. Great therapy! I also refinished/painted cheap furniture I got at yard sales or auctions. Not only do you free your mind, but you create something beautiful in the process!

  • Start a home business! There are lots to choose from. Some are free or low cost and I can tell you from personal experience they are very time consuming! I have 3... All of them take lots of time. And the income is an added bonus! lol

  • hook rugs. sounds silly but i used to do those all the time. good time waster & you can give them away as xmas gifts.
