Why is it only Christianity that is turned down?

There are plenty of religions so why is it that GOD is the only who must denied in so many areas..

BTW Atheism is a religion, so by talking about evolution and not praying in School and such we are then supporting another Religon?

Again humanists have overtaken our schools and practically our GOVT and many other areas and that is also a way to Deny GOD so why is it that everyone is allowed to and must live in a system where its Denying God instead of Getting both Sides and letting people choose for themselves?

  • Schools serve sausage and pepperoni pizza. Is that denying Judaism?

Schools don't require all girls to cover their hair. Is that denying Islam?

If you are unhappy with your immediate community, then home school or find others like you.

Christ wants you to make disciples and be a martyr for your faith, sure. But where in the Bible does He ask you to whine that you've gotten the short end of the stick? Did He whine on the Cross about how the Romans denied Him? Nope, He asked God to forgive them.

  • Because then we would have to give equal time to every religion represented in a given school/area and that would take too much time. Its not about denying god, its about being practical in the school/public environment.

  • Reason why, here in the U.S., Christianity is what we (Americans) experience first. So, being that Christianity is what is encountered first, Christianity is first turned down. If we were in a country dominated by any other fundamentalist belief, then that belief would be first turned down.

Wasn't our country founded on freedom of religion?

  • Actually atheism is a philosophy. And it's not denying god to disallow any religion in the schools. It's not the school's responsibility to teach religion to our kids. It's the parent's responsibility.

  • Im not whining!! Im standing up for GOD that we as Christians sometimes do absolutely nothing and the only option we have in this life is to follow these rules that they put on Christians. I do want to homeschool by the way.

We do nothing and allow everybody to say what is ok for us! ITs NOt OK an its whining it is simply standing up for the things of God!

  • and we wonder why our school system and GOVT is so corrupt!! Look at what WE THE People have taken out.. GOD!

  • Oh, the poor persecuted Christians. They've only completely dominated pretty much every aspect of the western hemisphere for the last 2000 years. Now that other religions and the non-religious are finally speaking up (with legal protection from being tormented about it) the Christians think they are being pushed around and denied their rights. Your not being denied anything. Others are just starting to finally have the same rights you've always enjoyed and you seem to feel threatened by it.

Atheism is NOT a religion. Evolution is science, not religion. Separation of church and state is a core principle of the US. The founding fathers were not all christians.

  • Also remember the original colonists that settled here were seeking freedom to WORSHIP AS THEY CHOSE TO. HEY religious freedom is great.
Sorry, I am Pagan, and I do not want ANY religion shoved down my daughters throat at school.

Nor to I want a goverment, which would find it necessary to burn people at the stake sorry.
You want freedom to believe the way you do, give me the same respect.
