So I am out of laundry detergent and have no way to the store to get more but I desperately need some clean towels and clothes. My dad said Icould use soap for the dishwasher but I am skepitcal....Anyone know or have a suggestion???Answer Question

It actually might work because the laundry detergent I make for the washer has the same ingredients (except for the soap) as the dish washing detergent I make. I would give it a try. You can "technically" use just water for laundry. Just don't expect it to smell like it usually does with commercially made laundry soap.
