how can I find out in Illionois if my child care provider is licensed.... Is there a web based link?

  • In our county the licenses for day care are given through the health dept. You could call there and ask them. You could always try City Hall, they should know. Googling might help but idk.

  • Google: license childcares providers in your state.

  • Call the Welfare office or social services in your county and they will be able to lead you in the right direction. Also, if your center is licensed, they have to display their license where all parents can see it.
