What do you think expecting this type of scenerio across the country?

The economic tsunami washing over metro Detroit swept its casualties to the doors of Cobo Center on Wednesday in the form of 35,000 people so desperate for help with mortgage and utility bills that threats were made, fights broke out and people were nearly trampled.

  • My son lives outside Detroit in Marysville. He can't find a job. He has sent out about 100 applications. The companies who are advertising don't even respond. I don't know what he will do.

  • LOL, Anon :22! I live in Royal Oak, about 20-30 minutes outside of Detroit. It's getting bad, here. At least 1/2 the people I know, myself included, have lost jobs in the past few months. There really isn't much here! Plus, the MI government is doing us no favors *rolls eyes* (don't get me started on them). I've been trying to hold out hope, but we're going down rapidly!
