this is easy and fun! Start with a juice fast for 72 hours. if you have a juicer, it's best to make your own. Otherwise, you can buy juices that are 100% fruit and veggie. Most people who do a 72 hour juice fast will lose 5-10 lbs of water weight and bowel waste. Just drink 100% juice for 3 days. You can have water but no dairy milk or soy milk. Almond, rice, or hemp milk is fine.
No coffee, no soda, no iced tea.
On day 4 begin raw and solid foods. Raw or steamed fruits and veggies but no butter or sauce. Brown rice and cooked beans. You want to buy fresh foods, not canned or frozen. Buy real rice, not minute rice. Eat this for days for 3-5 days. You can continue with the juice. But no meats or dairy.
You'll notice your sugar and junk food cravings will have gone away.
Red clover flower tea and slippery elm tea are a good addition. These can stand-in for your coffee/tea/soda. Use honey or agave for sweetener, not sugar.
