my 1 month old can't pass gas

she is in so much pain and she strains and strains and when she finally poots she feels a lot better but a lot of the time she just screams in pain. She is NOT constipated. what can I do to help?

  • take warm water in her bottle and peppermints and shake it. it works great and they like the taste

  • Lay her on her back and bring her knees to her chest, in the "bicycle motion".

  • Bicycle her legs, lay her on her left side and pat her back, simethicone drops are a lifesaver. But remember, her body is still adjusting to all these new things, so it might just be something that only time will help.

  • bicycle her legs, warm baths, gentle belly or back rubs, mylicon(simethicone). If she is bf, get rid of dairy and caffeine for about a week and see if that helps- those are common triggers for bf baby gas.

  • gas drops work wonders u can also try laying her on her tummy on ur lap and bouncing her a little, or the bicycle thing works to
