  • i cant be certain but ive always been told that 12-15 days after the first day of your period is when you will ovulate. if the first day of your period is "day 1", then if youre trying to conceive, sex is crucial on days 11-16. if youre trying to avoid getting pregnant, id avoid sex from days 10-18 just in case. cant promise anything. but i charted my period before i got pregnant and controlled pregnancy very well with it. look into getting a thermometer and a basal chart to keep track of your temperature.
