Can I give motrin right after giving dayquil?

My daughter is almost 3 and has an awful cough, chest cold, and after I gave her 5mL of day quil, her fever returned. I gave her dayquil at 3, motrin was given to her this morning around 8. Of course her fever cane back AFTER her Dr's office closed, and I can't get a hold of my mom to ask.
She had a low fever yesterday morning of 100.4, but after I gave her motrin it never returned. So when she woke up this morning with a 101 temp, I gave motrin, then after nap she didnt' feel warm and her temp was a normal 98.2. Now it's back up to 101.6
I think that's all the info I need to give, hopefully anyways.
