How long does cooked then frozen turkey keep in the freezer?

I'm thinking about turning left over thanksgiving into turkey TV dinners this year instead of gorging on turkey for a week after.

  • Great idea! Cooked turkey keeps well a month or so. After that you might notice some freezer burn. I've gone three months.

  • If you have a vacuum sealer it will keep at least 6 months. I have a food saver. Even though it was expensive, in the first 6 months I had it it paid for itself in savings.
