Are you a "reformed" whore?

A question about the number of guys we've slept with just made me want to ask this. Keep in mind ladies, I'm NOT CALLING ANYONE A REFORMED WHORE EXCEPT MYSELF! I'm asking if YOU think you were a whore and what happened to make you change! I started having sex when I was 12! All out wild child. I met my future husband when I was 15 and eventually he helped me to find self worth and I ended up changing my entire belief about sex. Whats your story?

  • I am not a reformed whore nor ever will be. If I am considered a whore than I am a whore. I fuck w/ men, not woman, so if u r a reformed whore u must be celibate. If u still commit the sexual act I don't consider u reformed, LOL.

  • I was born in the late 60's and raised VERY strict Roman Catholic--and as an only child, I was a bit of a goody two shoes through high school--I drank alcohol, but didn't sleep around or do "favors" as girls today refer to things, thereby claiming they are still virgins.

HOWEVER, when I went away to college, things changed!!! Suddenly there weren't any "rules" and no parents hovering over me (warning to anyone who is an overbearing parent)!!! While I wouldn't say I was a whore, I did have a FEW calculated one night stands with men only--my choice, my intention not to take things further--just wanted to have a little "fun!"

I was always VERY careful, and as a result never had a pregnancy scare or STD. I grew up quickly after I graduated, and settled into more committed relationships. I didn't marry or have my first child until my early 30's. So, there are no reminders of my "indiscretions" and I could "hide" my past!

And I dont consider having sex with my husband as me being a whore. You are only calling everyone basically a whore because you are one and want to feel better about it.

  • milmiracle, having sex doesn't make you a whore, especially if done with you husband. a whore is someone who sleeps with a large number of men (or women), sleeps with them without knowing them , on the first date, one night stands, etc. etc. to me, having slept with a few serious boyfriends in your life time and/or having sex with your husband does not make you a whore.

  • I started having sex at 11. I've been with about 240 guys and about 60 gals... Since I met my DH in 2003 and we have been together since 2004... Since we have been together is't just been him... But I'm far from reformed! If our marraige breaks up or if I can convince him to go to that new swing club... I see nothing wrong with having lots of partners! Variety is the spice of life!
