Is this normal to be happening so early?

im 29 weeks pregnant today. Ive been noticing for a few weeks white flakey stuff on my nipples. Last night I was wiping it away and clear liquid came out of my nipple. I wasn't sure if this was normal or not because I was told by a few people they didnt get anything til after the baby was born?

Also another question is. Ive been getting cramps in my upper belly near my ribs. It may be bad gas or braxton hicks maybe? IDK what do they feel like?

  • I started lactating at 14 weeks with my son. It's not very common but it's fine. Not sure about the cramps. Maybe the baby balling up.

  • i started leaking colostrum at about 18-19 weeks
its normal to start early and normal to start after you actually give birth
but to prevent it from getting really heavy and leaking a lot dont try and squeeze any out
itll make more come out, trust me, i learned the hard way...lol
