Who do you use for car insurance?

I currently have safe auto but they won't let me drop my husband bc we are not legally separated and Geico's rates are crazy!

  • I have had nationwide for the last 10 years, i havent had any problems and their rates are resonable, we pay 100.00 per month for full coverage on a dodge ram 4x4 and a dodge grand caravan, it includes towing, roadside assistance, accident forgiveness, lock out service, and a bunch of other stuff.

  • We did have Central Insurance Companies (they are great!), but after my husband had his wreck, they kicked us off. We now have Progressive (very expensive), but once my wreck from 2006 comes off my record in Nov. then we are going to try to get back on Central Insurance Companies.

  • Progressive. They are great! I was hit head on Memorial Day weekend a in 08 and actually was able to speak to a real live human being on Sunday...was told that a claims agent would call me back on Monday which was Memorial Day...They actually called! At the time I was told to expect the call. I was suprised. I would never switch to anyone else.

  • I forgot to add. Their rates aren't all that bad either. We pay 220 a month for 3 vehicles. Full coverage on 2 of them and liablity on one. We are in KY.

  • Geico and they are a bit expensive, but they are the only people who will cover us if we admit we have had gaps in insurance becasue of inability to pay. We want to switch to state farm but the agent wont call us back. I will look back later to see if anyone else has anything good to say about their insurance co's ours ends next month and we want new.

  • Allstate. We get a 20% discount because our homeowner's insurance is also with them.
