  • Get an air purifier or something that will drowned out their noise and put it in her room. We live on a busy street and the cars are SO loud. The air purifier drowns it all out. I know how frustrating that can be! Good luck!

  • In Guinea, parent intentionally keep their babies amid all the bustle and noise because to them it's very important that kids learn to sleep when they're tired, not just when conditions are perfect.

You may find it easier to keep your older lads quiet if you are in the room with them while the baby sleeps, keeping them active and involved in something quiet --listening to stories, jigsaw puzzles, cutting and pasting, playing board games, etc. If you expect them to monitor their own behaviour without a parent right there, I would be forced to guess that these kids are in their teens, when that expectation might be reasonable.

  • Yes - an air humidifier or air purifier works wonders. You can find them often for about $20-25 at Walmart or Target.
