I am 30 weeks and have not developed any streach marks yet. Does this mean they are there and i won't see them untill after or they are going to happen at the end?

  • I guess you'll just have to wait and see... now stop being so vain and start preparing yourself, for never being the same person you were before you got pregnant.

  • Hello...it depends on the person...i know someone who only got stretch marks because she when she past her due date.....also some people only get them at the very end....keep moisturising and use cocoanut oil..it worked for me and I gained over 65 pounds...also I think you skin elasticity plays a huge part.....all the best :)

  • I got them at the very last minute, I gained just what was recommended- but being a very thin person my entire life when I did gain those pounds at the very end it really stretched, they have almost faded now. Good luck!

  • Depends on the person. Some are very lucky and don't get any but usually the end of pregnancy is when the most stretching occurs and they come. Start using lotion to help with the elasticity of the skin and maybe you will be in the lucky ones.

  • Its genetic. There is nothing you can do to prevent them. I moisturized RELIGIOUSLY 2-3x a day my entire pregnancy and I thought avoided them...til about 38 wks. They EXPLODED all the sudden. Literally, it was like overnight! On the Doctors tv show they said "If your mother has them, its a good indication you'll get them too".

  • rub lotion on as often as possible (at least twice a day) so you don't get that many, because you will probably get some the last couple weeks. my mom didn't get any stretch marks with me (she was really small).

  • Luckily, I didn't get stretch marks with either one of my kids. I gained 19 libs with my first and 31 with my second. I didn't regulary use it but I did put cocoa butter on my belly
