  • Sadly, Obama is Bush-lite but without the balls when it comes to war. He has expanded the war in Afghanistan, but now has to deal with the increased American deaths.

Considering how much he campaigned against the war, all he has done is make the war worse.

  • He's damned if he does and damned if he don't....If he sends more troops, he'll look like Bush, who was criticized for sending more Americans to fight an "unwinnable" war. Since he won the Peace Prize for being nothing more than "not George Bush", I doubt he wants to start being compared to him. If he doesn't send troops, he'll look like he doesn't want to send the support our soliders apparently need. Bush never cared much about the public's opinion of him, so he was able to do what he thought was necessary, even if the public didn't agree. But Obama seems very concerned about how he's portrayed in the press, how the public views him, his poll numbers, and even his SNL skits, so the decision must be much more difficult for him.

He's already doing all the same things that George Bush did over there, what's the difference?

  • Apparently, he's still voting "present." Didn't anyone tell him that as president he would actually have to make decisions?
