Easy good frosting for sugar cookies...

Anyone got one??

  • Why frost them? before you bake just take a glass and wet the end, place it in sugar and use it to smash the cookies flat. It will leave the sugar on the dough and is wonderful!

  • Haha cause they are in halloween shapes. Thats why they need to be frosted.

  • Ahhh...try the cream cheese icing that is can warm it in the microwave and add food coloring if you can even make black and put it in a ziploc bag with the end cut off to make designs.

  • I often cheat and use the store bought. The best home made one is the buttercream frosting: 6 T. butter, 1 pound box of confectioner's sugar, about 1/4 C. light cream, and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla. You can then divide it and add food colorings of choice.

    This is a thick fudge frosting recipe. Omit the cocoa for thick cream cheese frosting. You can add color if needed.
