No caffeine?

I have had none today and I am shaky and weak feeling. Any ideas on how to feel better with out drinking caffeine?

  • Emergen-C vitamin drink. Have in the AM in place of your coffee. It feels so good! it's fizzy and low in calories and sugar. Very healthy.

    If you are feeling weak. it could be your blood sugar as well. Eat a high protein snack like almonds or a scoop of refried beans with cheese between meals.

  • Drink lots of water, eat something with protein as the pp said, take some tylenol. If you are trying to cut caffeine out you'll have headaches for a good 3 - 7 days but it will get better

  • If you're trying to break the caffeine habit, you will go through withdrawl symptoms for a couple of weeks. After you make it through those couple of weeks, you'll find that you feel better than you did when you were drinking the coffee.

    Drink lots of water and eat a handful of almonds a few time throughout the day for a good jolt of protein and complex carbs.

  • Going cold turkey is a bad idea. You need to taper off; take a week to do so.
