Does anyone have any good high calorie recipes for a very finiky 11 month old.

He doesn't like baby food and is very hard to please. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between snacks are a chore on a daily basae.

  • Since he is already 11 months, i dont know how much it would help, but most formula companies make formulas for underweight babies or premies. It has twice the amount of calories in it. And some may have Step2 formula, for 12 months +

Best thing to do is ask your pediatrician for advice, or even if this is necessary.

  • What about mac n cheese mixed with steamed veggies? Its got the pasta and cheese. Also try turkey with stuffing, chicken pot pie, really any kinda casserole. That way he gets a mixture of the pasta, bread, cheeses, and still veggies he needs for vitamins!
