Should I let her use her pacifier since she is sick?

I have two babies and they are both sick. I am in the process of weaning the pacifier from my daughter so I was wondering since she is sick should I let her use it ? She still takes it at night sometimes.

  • I always do. My daughter only gets her pacifier at night most times, but when she is sick, I will let her have it during the day to nap with as well. It is a real comfort item. Its like having them sleep in bed with you when they are sick, or holding them all day on the couch, IMO. I let her sleep as much as she wants, let her eat as little as she wants, and just little things like that.

  • I would but make sure you give it a good cleaning between uses. No point in respreading the germs.
