would it be safe to give my 16month old this..

unpasterized apple cider? we had a sample at the pumpkin patch and bought some not thinking then i read it when we got says dont give to infants elderly and people with weak imune systems. she was ebf up until 2weeks ago so im pretty sure she has a good imune system.

  • She's not an infant anymore, and like you said probably has a good immune system, are you still breastfeeding some? Or stopped completely now?

    no, it is HIGHLY unlikely that there is enough bacteria in the cider to make her sick- darn near impossible...

    people will give their kids process, additive filled, sodium laden foods- without a second thought!- but unpasteurized juice isn't safe. lol
    so, by the same thought we should not give our children ANY fruits or vegetables that have not been cooked to death, treated with color retention agents, preservatives, sugar, and sodium?
