  • My daughter had a two vessel cord in my first pregnancy. As far as the doctors told me the main risk to the baby was a low birthweight. As long as you eat a health variety of foods then you and baby should be okay. They will just be keeping an eye on your weight gain, and babies growth. My daughter was born around 38 weeks and she was 6lbs and 14oz.

  • MY first had a 2 vessel cord (and after birth we found out she also had a true knot in it as well!) She turned out just fine! A little extra watching from the doctors, and as for a low birthweight? Jaden was 9 lbs 7 oz.
