Why do some women find this so hard to do?

Specially in the political section, some tend to think that disrespect and name calling plus profanity will make their claim or opinion more valid. Why can't an opinion be stated w/o the insults and degrading of others opinions, aren't we all mature enough for intelligent respectful debate?

  • I honestly do not know. Some people seems to have very little education about issues .
One thing for them is just attack the other side , maybe that would make me look smarter !

  • I don't know why Older, I have insults coming at me all the time, but as long as its me getting insultedits okay, I guess and the lady from the other post was not debating with me, she was demeaning me on what or what I do or do not know. That was why I posted for her not to address me unless she knew what she was talking about when it pertained to judging me.

  • Remember, when you point a finger there are three pointing back at you.

  • Anon, pointing a finger does not mean I have to insult or demean, or use profanity too make my point. Unless I am insulted or disrespected even then, I don't retailiate with degrading remarks.

  • Is someone picking on you tyme?

Answer by tnmomofive at 8:37 AM on Oct. 14, 2009

  • pretty much what sisteract said...sometimes when backed into a corner by someone more intelligent or better versed/studied in the issue, all some people can do is resort to elementary school antics, such as...''nananana booboo, stick your head in doodoo.''-something like that! LOL

  • When people run out of intelligent arguments they resort to name calling. Sorry but if your argument is valid and you believe what you are saying there should be no need for name calling or even profanity. Adults should not be name calling, it only makes you look bad.
