would it be safe to give my 16month old this..

i asked yesterday but onlt got 4 answers 2 saying yes and 2 saying no....can i give her unpasterized apple cider? it says on it do not give to infants elderly people and people with weak immune systems..i just weaned her 2weeks ago so she probaly has a great immune system.what do u other moms think?

  • I would say no. Honey is the same way...I think the appropriate age is 18 months.

  • I don't think is should matter. With honey they say after 1 year and we tried that last week with my 14 mo. old she is fine. Just try a little bit and see how it goes, or call the phone nurse. How is apple cider different from eating apples?
