housewarming party

do you buy a gift for a housewarming party? if so like what?

  • I always take a gift to a housewarming party. Some suggestions would be... a big house plant, picture frame/s, framed artwork to match the decor, throw for the sofa, a vase or some kind of collectible art piece, or a gift certificate to a home decorating store.

  • Yes, this IS a gift giving occasion. BlessedMommys suggestions are good but if you don't know them well anything for the home is fine and more generic suggestions are candles, plants anything like that.

  • If it for a house with a garden, I like to get a bunch of different herbs (the ones with roots) in the grocery store and plant them in a big pot. That makes for a great frist herb-garden, for cooking.
