i have to get my pulled next week i have been prescribed valium and its not safe while breast feeding. Do you have any idea valium stay in your system? I asked pharmist and dentist neither one didn't know!! Please let me know your experience if you had this dilemma before.

They gave you valium to get teeth pulled? Do you have anxiety? I am pretty sure that Valium stays in your system for a week. I am not positive though, it's weird a pharmacist would not know. Can you ask to get something else, like percocet, that is safe while breastfeeding. It probably won't work as well as Valium but at least you won't have to worry about. Good luck, I hate getting teeth pulled.

First we need to know why you are being prescribed valium to be able to help with alternatives. I had my tooth pulled when I was 13 wks pregnant and wasn't prescribed or given anything harmful so it is more then possible to do this without the use of valium or anything harmful.
