Is there a typing program online that's free or would it pay to buy one?

Mavis Beacon program is what I am using in my career class. This is the last week of class and want to continue brushing up on my typing skills. Don't need a virus though!! Want a safe program to go into.

  • Most email systems have a spell/punctuation check included in its system. I brought up my typing speed pretty high by typing in email format from newspapers to magazines and then hitting spell check.

After I was done with spell check etc. I'd email it to myself and sometimes print out to use as guidance. My daughter for college types her documents in Microsoft Word and that has a built in spell/punctuation check too. I don't know of any grammar check system though.

Congratulations on finishing class! Good for you!!!

  • Mavis Beacon is great! You should be able to find a copy on eBay for under ten dollars.
