  • Like pin the tail on the Donkey - we do pin the nose on the Jack-Lantern. We use a felt pumpkin so a felt nose sticks, but you can use a paper pumpkin or a real one and paper noses with tape on the back.

  • The mummy game- pair the kids up, give each pair a roll of toilet paper, one partner wraps the other one in paper...the first team to have their partner totally wrapped in toilet paper wins.

We buy the mini pumpkins and markers and have a pumpkin decorating contest, or we buy sturdy plain gift bags with handles and have a treat bag decorating contest.

The creepy feely game: Make a wood board with a hole in it large enough for a hand to go in. Cut the foot end off of a black sock, and glue to the back side of the board. (Make sure the board is big enough for someone to hide behind....I like using a large appliance box that someone can get into. Decorate the box or board. Children stick their hand into the sock, and feel what's behind it. Have two or three boxes or bowls with things like cooked spaghetti, olives, things that feel creepy, then have one box that you put a prize in for the child to take.
