11 or 12 day lp?

I just had my first ovulatory cycle, and depending on the charting site you go by I had an 11 (babymed) or 12 (ff) day luteal phase. Pre-baby, I had a 17-day lp. Should I be worried about how short it is? Will it affect my future fertility?

  • I have an average 12-day luteal phase, and I had no problems getting pregnant with either of my kids. The goal with a luteal phase is to have one long enough to give a fertilized egg time to implant, which usually happens 7-10 days after ovulation. So 11 or 12 days should be fine.
