Dry Clean only?

I just threw my "Dry clean only" winter coat in the washer machine...what's the worse thing that could happen? I normally wouldn't mind taking it to the cleaners. But for one, it's $35 just to dry clean and it doesn't even come clean. Besides, it's going to snow tonight and I need it!

  • DON'T dry it in the dryer!! I have found that most things that say "Dry clean only" can be washed in the machine in cold water and air dried. So your coat will probably be OK as long as you air dry it.

  • It could shred into a million little pieces. That's the worst that could happen

  • LOL.

I washed my DDs crib blanket that was DCO and it was fine. It can shrink.
