is it normal to breathe slower when your tired?

been taking lunesta on and off and notice that when im super tired
even days i dont take it i breate slower kind of like right before you fall asleep breathing dont know if im that tired or what, havent slept right in four days-- is it normal? gets more noticeable the more i relax i can haardly keep my eyes open today

  • slower and shallower. The more tired your body gets the closer it wants to get to sleep, so it starts to think less, breath less and digest slower. I would start to keep a sleep journal. Keep track of your sleepyness as well as how long you sleep and how you feel and make sure to note when you take your pill. You may notice a pattern. But yes, in general it's normal to breath slower when you are tired - that's why tired people yawn.
