What can I do for a RUNNY nose in a 9-month old?

We've tried saline drops, but they just make it run even more!

  • Saline drops work well for a stuffy nose. But, not a runny nose. There's not really too much you can do. Just keep the baby's nose as clean as you possibly can and hopefully it won't last too long.

  • Nothing. Wipe when needed. As long as everything else is fine with baby, there's nothing to do except let it run its course.

  • use the bulb syringe (they sooooo love that) and use something under the noes like lanoline to keep it from getting chapped. dap with a tissue when needed. (I have the little travel packs in like all my pockets for just this)
